Partner - Rusolut

We’re pleased to share that Harper Shaw Investigation Consultants has been onboarded as a UK partner of Rusolut, becoming an authorised reseller of their digital forensics products — including the newly launched Vehicle Data Reconstructor (VDR).

Vehicle Systems Forensics is a complex and evolving area. With over 9 years of experience working on data recovery from ECUs and infotainment systems, we’ve developed in-house methods and regularly deal with raw and proprietary file systems. Those in the field will recognise the challenges.

VDR is a welcome addition. It automates some of the more time-consuming steps involved in analysing and rebuilding file systems and expands support across a wider range of ECUs. It aligns with techniques we already use, such as chip-off and ISP, and adds another option to our toolkit and to those of others working in the space.

We’ve had early access to the tool and have already used it successfully in live casework, particularly with newer telematics units that were otherwise difficult to process.

We’re now able to offer VDR to UK clients looking to build their capability in this area.
